Questions or trouble with Memora? We are happy to help.
We will reply as soon as we can. Please include your device model, iOS version and app version. You do not need to send private card content.
On first launch Memora offers “Choose starter decks”: travel, languages, education, history, general knowledge, K-culture and more. Pick some and start studying, or tap “+” to add your own cards. You can get starter decks later from Decks › Starter decks, and replay the onboarding from Settings › First-run screens.
In Decks › Import, paste text (up to 1,000 characters at a time). Memora understands Anki’s “Notes in Plain Text” export, CSV/TSV and “word - meaning” lines, including tag columns and cloze (fill-in-the-blank) notes. Check the column roles and review the list of look-alike cards the app would skip. Opening an Anki package (.apkg) file directly is not supported, but you can export your Memora cards as .apkg and open them in Anki. Importing is a Pro feature.
In the New card screen choose “Create from documents or photos” and add a PDF, DOCX, PPTX, text file or photo. Memora drafts key terms, cards and quizzes; everything happens on the device and only the cards you pick are saved. Each file or photo can be up to 10 MB (large photos are shrunk automatically). Free includes 3 a day; Pro is unlimited.
Look at the card, tap “Show answer”, then choose Again, Hard, Good or Easy. Each button shows the interval until the next review. If you tapped the wrong one, use “Undo last rating”.
Choose “Study again as practice” on a deck to go through its cards again without changing the review schedule. You can also study cards you pick in the card list.
Use the Quiz tab to quiz yourself from a deck, your wrong-answer notes or cards you pick; missed questions collect in your wrong-answer notes. With Pro you can also quiz weak cards, tags, clusters, today’s cards or all cards, and feed the results back into your review schedule.
Open the calendar at the top right of the Study tab for day-by-day history, and the Stats tab for trends over time. Free shows 7 and 30 days; Pro adds 3 months, 6 months, 1 year and all time.
As many as the deck’s “New cards per day” setting (20 by default), minus the new cards you already started today. When you study several decks together, the total stays within the largest deck limit.
Turn them on in Settings › Review reminder and pick a time. Reminders are scheduled on your device only.
Deleted cards and decks can be restored for 30 days from Decks › Recently deleted.
There is no trial; the limits below apply from day one. Free: 3 decks, 50 cards of your own (starter-deck cards don’t count), 1 quiz a day (10 questions), the latest 20 wrong-answer notes, stats for 7 and 30 days, and 3 document/photo card drafts a day. Reviewing, studying again, the study calendar, Apple Watch review and reminders are always free. Pro removes the limits and adds AI deck creation, the study guide, contrast cards, concept clusters, look-alike warnings, meaning search and importing. Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase, not a subscription. Decks and cards you already have beyond the free limits are never deleted — you just can’t add more.
Tap “Restore purchase” on the Pro screen. You must be signed in with the same Apple account you bought with.

Choose the model in Settings › AI model. On devices that support Apple Intelligence it works right away by default, and we recommend Gemma 4 (about 2.6 GB), which is strong across languages. Gemma 4 and Qwen3 (about 1 GB or 2.7 GB) are downloaded once over Wi-Fi after you confirm the size and data-usage notice; after that everything runs on the device. If storage or memory is short, choose a smaller model. AI deck creation is a Pro feature.
Not always. Smaller models in particular can state wrong facts. Review cards before saving, and check medical, legal, tax and investment topics against official sources.
AI generation takes time depending on your device. Close other apps and keep Memora in the foreground while it works. The 4B model is recommended only on devices with plenty of memory.
In Settings › AI model tap “Delete” on the model to free the storage. You can download it again whenever you like.
Sign in with the same Apple account and keep Settings › iCloud sync on. Cards and study history sync; documents, quizzes and analysis data are built separately on each device. If sync stalls, check your iCloud sign-in and storage.
In Settings › iCloud sync tap “Back up now” and choose where to save the file (Files, iCloud Drive and so on). On the new phone use “Restore from file” on the same screen and open that file. Cards you already have are skipped; only missing ones are restored.
The device makes a safety backup once a day. If you reinstall the app and have no cards but a backup exists, Memora offers to restore it. A backup file you saved yourself can be restored from Settings with “Restore from file”.
Only on your device and in your own iCloud. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Yes — review today’s cards and take quizzes on an Apple Watch paired with your iPhone. Rate with the Digital Crown, feel haptic feedback, and see today’s progress in a complication. If you don’t see the Watch app, check the Memora installation in the Watch app on your iPhone.
