GyodaeroPrivacy Policy
1. Information we collect
The developer collects no information. There is no sign-up or login, and the app uses no advertising or analytics SDKs. The information in section 2 below is stored only on your device.
2. Information stored on your device
For the app to work, the following information is stored only on your device.
- Shift patterns, work records, and changes such as cover shifts and overtime
- Events you add yourself and calendar settings (name, color, visibility)
- Alarm time settings
- Pay calculation settings (hourly wage, premium multipliers, etc.) and calculation results
- Theme, widget, and sticker settings
- If you use Care, your condition log: mood and energy, sleep time, caffeine and activity, status tags, and notes you write yourself. This may include sensitive information related to mental health.
- Whether you agreed to the Care notice, and the date you agreed
3. iCloud sync
If you turn on iCloud sync, the data above (condition notes only if you turn that on separately) is synced with your other devices through Apple's iCloud (key-value storage). This data is stored in your Apple ID account, and the Gyodaero developer cannot access it. You can turn it off at any time in Settings › iCloud sync.
3-2. Apple Watch
If you use the Apple Watch app, your iPhone sends a summary of your schedule around today (shift pattern, changes, shift times, alarm settings, and theme) to your paired watch through Apple's WatchConnectivity. This data travels only between your iPhone and your watch, never through a server, and the watch is read-only. Your own events, condition logs, and notes are never sent to the watch.
3-0. Care · Condition log (for reference)
The Care guide is general wellness information calculated on your device from your schedule and the entries you have logged. It is not a substitute for professional medical or psychological counseling, diagnosis, or treatment. Noticing whether a note contains signs of distress also happens only on your device and is never sent anywhere. Apple's on-device AI (on supported devices with iOS 26 or later) reads your recent entries and notes on this device to write a short message, and nothing is sent to a server. You can withdraw your consent and delete your saved condition log at any time in Settings › Care notice & consent.
3-1. Apple Calendar integration (optional)
Apple Calendar: Only if you allow it, the app uses iOS Calendar permission to read events on your device and, if you choose, to write your shifts to a calendar named "Gyodaero Shifts".
Google account: If you add a Google account in your iPhone's Settings, its events appear through Apple Calendar. Gyodaero does not receive or store your Google sign-in information.
4. Backup · CSV export
The backup (calendar_backup.json) and pay report (salary_report.csv) are created on your device only when you request them, and you choose who to share them with (for example KakaoTalk, email, or the Files app). What happens after you send them is governed by that service's policy.
5. Notifications · Alarms
Notification permission is used only to deliver shift alarms and shift reminders, and all notifications are scheduled on your device.
6. In-app purchases
Gyodaero PRO purchases are processed by the Apple App Store. Gyodaero does not receive your payment information.
7. Children's privacy
Because we don't collect personal information, we don't collect children's personal information either.
8. Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes its data from your device. You can delete iCloud data in iPhone Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage › Gyodaero.
